Schools across the county are being asked to wear a Green Shirt Tuesday, October 13th to show support for Braden Tate's Family, Friends, Classmates, Teachers, and Administration. 💚
Braden Tate was hit while chasing a ball into the road, Highway 37 near Mt. Vernon, on Friday evening. He was airlifted to St. Louis, where he later passed away. He attended Rome Grade School. Tuesday is going to be an extremely difficult day for this school. Please keep the Tate family and Rome School in your prayers! 💚#BradenTate
Staff and students from Odin Public School District offer our heartfelt prayers and condolences to Braden’s family, friends, and the students and staff of Rome Grade School.
Over the weekend, Rome Grade School lost a member of their school community, Braden Tate. TOMORROW, let's wear GREEN to support their school, their community, Braden's family, and all those who mourn his loss.
Junior High and High School students are still encouraged to wear hats this week ($1.00) to support Lauren and her battle with cancer.
In difficult times, we stand together to support one another.
I just realized I had not done the Regal Eagle announcement for October. There is a very slim chance that you have never heard the name, Mr Soper. If you have spent any time at all in our school it’s almost a guarantee you have been graced with his presence at some point. I do not have time to list the things he has done for our little town. John Soper is and forever will be a pillar of the community. His love for the village isn’t rivaled by many and his support cannot be matched. You sir are among the Regalest of Eagles and we will never be able to repay all that you given us. Thank you and we are forever grateful. Remember you can email your suggestions for the Regal Eagle award to regaleagle@odinpublicschools.org
