Yesterday our 4th grade learned about force, friction and motion using the scientific method and some toy cars. They had a great time learning!




Today the star room read the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar and participated in a counting activity. The children counted each snack then ate it. The children tried 7 different items resulting in very full belly's just like the caterpillar.

March 21, FFA traveled to Kaskaskia College to participate in the Section 21 FFA Public Speaking Leadership Development Event (LDE). Congratulations to these two FFA members for bringing home some hardware:

The High School Track meet and the High School Softball game that were scheduled for today have been canceled. There will be no track practice. High School Softball will practice from 4pm-5:15pm in Odin's small gym.
The great saying it takes a village, is so very true for any FFA chapter. The Odin FFA chapter is very fortunate to have many wonderful sponsors, allowing us to do many of the activities that we participate in.
South Central FS has been a wonderful supporter to our teaching greenhouse building plan. They also challenged our chapter to participate in the bucket challenge and not only donated 25 buckets but $150 to our chapter. Thank your South Central FS for the continued support. #FSproud #AgDay23

Only two more days for this year's Book Fair! Today is the Grandparents' Lunch for Pre K/EC, Third, Fourth, and Fifth grades.
Tonight, (Thursday) the Book Fair will be open from 4:00 - 7:30 for families to shop. Please use the NORTH door.
All shopping needs to be completed by 1:00 Friday afternoon.
