Today, Odin FFA attended the Section 21 Horse Judging at the King City Saddle Club in Mt. Vernon. Congratulations to Brenden Bivens for placing 8th Individual Overall out of 75 contestants.

Odin FFA Leadership Team donated posters to hang around the junior high and high school building to brighten up the hallways and to motivate our students.
We even had a little helper and future FFA member, Cody Sligar, to bring the encouragement.

Reminder: Monday, August 15th will be the first day of school for students (with a 3:00 dismissal). Odin Public School District is excited to be partnering with OPAA Food Management this year for school lunch and breakfast. High School Volleyball will begin practice on Monday, August 8th from 8:00-9:45 am at Patoka High School. Upon arriving, the students should meet in the cafeteria. Bring shoes that can be worn outside and water to drink.

Monday, July 25, the 2022-2023 Odin FFA Leadership Team had their retreat. We set team and chapter goals and expectations, participated in team building activities, and planned activities for our National Chapter Award that we can’t wait to share with all of you! Also, we took an industry tour at Lavender Falls in Mt. Vernon and learned all there is to know about growing and harvesting lavender. A big thank you to Mr. Capps’ aunt and uncle for allowing us to use their backyard for our pool party and cookout to end a successful day!
