50 Ways to Beat COVID. You can sing it to the tune of the old Paul Simon hit. If you don’t know the song, this would be a great opportunity to ask your parents or grandparents to introduce you to it! 🎶🎶

The Regal Eagle Award for July goes to one of my favorites people, Ashley Ambuehl. Ashley graduated from Odin in 2007. Since then she has accomplished many things to be proud of. She attended Kaskaskia and from there moved on to Murray State. Following college she became a Peace Corps volunteer and is currently a helicopter pilot for the United States Navy. Ashely has set a remarkable example for all of us Eagles and her reach has extended far beyond the boundaries of our nest. Thank you Ashley for all you have done and will do, we love you and stay safe. Remember you can email nominations for the Regal Eagle Award to RegalEagle@odinpublicschools.org

While we do not know when registration will be or what it will look like just yet, we wanted to give you a head start on completing the mandated health requirements required by the state of Illinois. If your student requires medication to be administered during the school day, a new medication consent form must be signed by a physician and on file with the school for the current school year. Printable forms are available on our website at https://www.odinpublicschools.org/o/opsd/browse/93721

**Preschool Screening Information for 2020 School Year** As we do not yet know when we will be able to hold a physical PreK screening for the upcoming school year, we are asking families that are interested in the Odin PreK to fill out the Google Form to help us make the screening process as quick as possible. Our preschool program is grant funded by the state and children that are deemed most at risk are found eligible first. All of the information collected is required by the Preschool For All grant. FILLING OUT THIS FORM DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR CHILD A SPOT IN THE PROGRAM. Please contact Brittany Boldt with any questions at bboldt@roe13.org https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XtymqMdLYtMBnO0rquVnEGbNol8kUCzEN-e0-eJNPLo/edit

Well here’s to being a bit nostalgic and maybe slightly cliché...but this month’s Regal Eagle award goes to the Senior class of 2020. Your time in the building as a student may be done but you will always belong here, have a home here, and be welcome here. Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle. Fly high and chase your dreams. Photo Credits go to a fellow Regal Eagle Sammy Snodsmith. Remember you can email suggestions and nominations for the Regal Eagle award to regaleagle@odinpublicschools.org
