I wanted to thank all of our families for a great first day of parent teacher conferences today. It was great to see so many great people in the building supporting what we do each day. Also shout out to the PTO for the cookies, they were amazing, thank you!

Reminder: Today is an 11:30 dismissal as we begin Parent/Teacher Conferences. K-12 will be dismissed at 11:30. There are no Pre-K classes today. There is no school tomorrow, November 7th, as we conclude Parent/Teacher Conferences. School will resume on Monday, November 10th.

This evening, Odin Public Schools was made aware of a law enforcement situation involving an individual reportedly in possession of a firearm near the fire station.
Law enforcement was called and promptly deescalated the situation. We are thankful for their prompt and professional response and for their continued efforts to keep our community safe.
While the incident did not take place on school property, Odin Public Schools takes any potential safety concern seriously. As always, we will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement and remain committed to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families. We are so proud of Louis Reese for showing Adaptability. He was nominated by Mrs. Hanenberger for showing adaptability when at the Halloween party, there was one cupcake left. Louis and another student both decided to split the cupcake so that each of them could have a slice.
Student Council would like to say thank you to the community of Odin for their donations on Halloween night for "You've Been Boo'd." All the proceeds that were collected will help with the Homecoming Dance.
We are so proud of Aabri Savage for showing Adaptability. She was nominated by Ms. Thoms for setting a very high goal for a math test, she studied hard, took feedback, and kept trying. She crushed her goal! Way to go Aabri.

The start time for the JrH Girls home Basketball game tonight vs Iuka has been changed to a 6:30 JV start with Varsity to follow.

🎉 It’s time for TATT the Teacher Fundraiser! Students can participate by filling out the paper form and bringing it back to school with their money 💰 OR stopping by in the morning from 8:00–8:20 where Mrs. Bernard and Mrs. Sloat will be selling tattoos as the kids come into school. Let’s have some fun and support our school! 💙✨
Tonight during Trick or Treating our Student Council members will be out again this year, trick or treating for change! We appreciate your support! All proceeds will go towards the Homecoming dance.

Reminder: The Halloween Parade is today at 1:00PM. Pre-k-5th grade students should bring their costumes in their backpacks. Students will change into their costumes before the parade. They will NOT be allowed to wear them to class . Following the parade, there will be a 2:15 dismissal. Pre-K will be dismissed at 1:55 and K-12 will be dismissed at 2:15.
To end Red Ribbon Week wear your favorite Halloween shirt (must be school appropriate).
We will sell Smencils tomorrow! This will be the last day until December, where we will have Christmas Smencils. Smencils are $2 pre pencil.
Thanksgiving Food Drive! We need community support. November 2nd - 20th we will be accepting donations. If possible we would love if donations come in the form of a "basket" with the items listed on the flyer. Any support or assistance would be appreciated.
We are so proud of Abbi Haines for showing Adaptability. She was nominated by Mrs. Morris for showing adaptability in the classroom by using her resources and working independently. She uses time wisely and works hard through independent work time. Regardless of the difficulty of the task, she continues to ADAPT and figure out how to solve problems all on her own. Her independence and work ethic are inspiring to those around her and we are so proud of her!
