This week is another busy week for the high school! Patoka has invited our students to attend their HoCo dance this Friday! Tickets are on sale through Tuesday. $10 for individual and $15 for couple. Dress up days are posted in the image but tomorrow is dress up as any holiday other than Halloween day! Dress up days are for high school only. Thursday night is the Senior FAFSA Night at 6 pm. Students and parents need to attend! Filing a FAFSA is required by law to graduate. Friday the entire high school will be attending KC’s career fair and should bring $1 for lunch if possible!

On October 26-28, six FFA members and Mr. Capps attended the 95th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana with almost 70,000 other members, advisors, and guests across the nation from the state of Alaska to the Virgin Island and from the state of Maine to Hawaii. 🌟Day 1: we arrived in Indy, spent some time in the career & college expo and shopping mall, attended Opening Session 1 where we heard a keynote address by Tamika Catchings; 4-time Olympic gold medalist and WNBA Champion, on being bold, and attending the World’s Toughest Rodeo 🌟Day 2: spent time in the career & college expo and shopping mall, we attended general sessions 2 where Hailey and Tyler represented Odin FFA on stage to receive our 3-star chapter award - the highest ranking an FFA chapter can receive, and we went to Hanna’s Haunted Acres to have some fun as a chapter 🌟Day 3: visited the National FFA Center for a self guided tour of some history of National FFA and then toured Tuttle’s Orchard to understand apple production and apple products We would also like to thank our sponsors who donated financial help which allowed us to attend convention for those three days.
