2024-2025 School Registration
Odin Public School District #722 is excited to announce that online registration for new and returning students (Kindergarten-12th grade) is now live for the 2024 - 2025 school year! All students (returning and new to the district) MUST be registered ONLINE every year prior to the start of school. Completing the online registration process will register/update your student's information and if all forms are completed and submitted, you will NOT have to come to the school for in-person registration. Students will NOT be allowed to start the school year without ALL registration forms being completed. If you can not login to your TeacherEase account, please email Ms. Sam at sdix@odinpublicschools.org.

Online Registration Instructions
Pre-K Student Registration- Letters have been mailed to parents/guardians of pre-k students who are scheduled to attend the Odin PSD #722 Pre-K for All program for the 2024-2025 school year. Pre-K students should enroll IN PERSON on July 30th to ensure that all required documents are received. Pre-K students will NOT be allowed to start school until ALL required documents are received. For those without internet access, those that need additional assistance with the online registration process, or those that need to physically bring in proof of residency, medical forms, etc, Odin Public School District #722 will be holding in-person registration from 12 pm- 6 pm on the following date:

HS Schedules and schedule changes- Once online registration is complete, returning high school students will be able to access their class schedules via TeacherEase. Mrs. Haarmann will be available to meet with students who would like to make changes to their classes/schedules at registration on July 30th. High school students who are new to the district are encouraged to attend registration on July 30th so that you may meet with Mrs. Haarmann to set up your schedule.
All new students who have moved to the district, all kindergarten students, or any current student who has a different physical address since registration last year, are required to furnish proof of residency at registration.
Registration fees this year are $80 per student (K-12). Financial applications are available through online registration to determine whether registration fees may be waived. If your student is enrolled in Driver’s Education, there will be an additional $60 fee for that course (Driver’s Education fee can not be waived).
Odin School will again be participating in the CEP option which will provide breakfast and lunches for all students at no cost.
Kindergarten students must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2024. An original birth certificate will be required for registration.
Physicals- All kindergarten, sixth grade, and ninth grade students must have physicals and shots by the first day of school. Twelfth grade students must have the meningococcal vaccine. Failure to comply will result in the student's exclusion from school until the required health forms are presented to the school. If a medical/religious reason prevents a student from receiving a required immunization by the first day of school, the student must present by the first day of school, an immunization schedule and a statement of the medical reasons causing the delay. This schedule also must be signed by the doctor, registered nurse or local health department responsible for giving the immunizations.

Sports Physicals- A yearly Sports Physical is required for all athletes to participate in school sponsored athletic programs. 6th and 9th graders do not need a separate sports physical. Sports physicals are required for grades 4, 5, 7, 8,10,11,12 to participate in any school sponsored junior high or high school athletic program. Sports physicals are good for 395 days from the date of the physical.
Dental Exams- All children entering kindergarten, second grade, sixth grade, and ninth grade are required to have an oral health exam. Oral health exams must be performed by a licensed dentist and he/she must sign the Proof of School Dental Examination Form. Dental Safari will be at the in person registration to sign students up for the visit in the Spring. Seeing Dental Safari in the spring, will fulfill the state dental exam requirement.
Eye Exams- All children entering kindergarten must also show proof of an eye examination. Examinations must be performed by a licensed optometrist or medical doctor who performs eye examinations, as specified in the Illinois Department of Public Health administrative rules. He/she shall complete and sign the Eye Examination Report form, as designated and available on the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois State Board of Education websites.
